Soccer field lighting design, compliant CONI Table B - Activity Level 1 and UNI-EN 12193 - Table A.21 class III. The lighting system is for playgrounds of the National Amateur League (NAL). The study was done in order to provide the installation of a sports artificial lighting system and request approval for racing operations officer. The project was developed in accordance with the rules in force with the requirements defined by the NAL with regard to lighting performance and the characteristics of the electrical system for the various types of playing fields. The design took into account the levels of horizontal and vertical illuminance, uniformity of illumination, the glare reduction and color properties of the light sources. The aim of the study was achieved thanks to the experience gained over the years and the use of LED professional luminaires, specially designed for sporting applications.
